Firefighters carry out water rescue in Princes Quay ahead of dangerous summer months
Hull Daily Mail
|April 25, 2025
THE emergency services were practising water rescues at Princes Quay in Hull city centre yesterday.
Humberside Fire and Rescue Service and Humberside Police took part in a joint training exercise for a scenario in which four people have entered the water and one is below the surface.
It started at around 10.30am, with the Fire Service leading the initial search and the police's Regional Marine and Underwater Search Unit taking over for the recovery of the body - in this case a training dummy.
