The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday deployed its big guns as a Union minister and two former Union ministers campaigned in parts of the Capital for the Delhi Assembly elections.
NEW DELHI: These included senior BJP leader and Union road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari who addressed his first public rally for the February 5 polls.
Speaking at Matiala in support of candidate Sandeep Sahrawat, Gadkari highlighted the glaring issues of air and water pollution, and slammed the AAP for alleged inaction. He contrasted this with the work that the BJP has done to reduce pollution in Delhi as well as improve road infrastructure.
