Ashok Leyland misses 10.9K e-bus tender

ASHOK LEYLAND, THE country’s second-largest bus maker, has stayed away from Convergence Energy Services’ (CESL) tender for 10,900 electric buses, which closed on November 14.
The company is the only major bus manufacturer not to participate in the tender, which drew bids from all other major players, including Tata Motors, PMI Electro, JBM, Pinnacle, Olectra, and Volvo Eicher.
