Eckert's united Saints and given them plenty to Bragg about

- BY JASON MELLOR

CAMERON BRAGG reckons it is crystal clear that Tonda Eckert is the right man to lead Southampton's quest for a Premier League return.

The Saints can make it five straight wins under the German caretaker boss against promotion rivals Millwall today as they look to maintain their post-Will Still bounce.

Still was axed after five months at the start of November for failing to get a tune out of one of the most expensively assembled squads in the Championship as the South Coast club bid to bounce back after relegation.

The transformation under Eckert has been astonishing. The revitalised Saints have plundered 13 goals in four games to reignite a season that was heading towards League One under the 33-year-old.

I'd barely been onboard the Disney Destiny for a few hours but I'd already seen Marvel villain Loki attempt to take command of the ship, eaten my weight in ice cream while looking out at sea, and searched out my go-to cocktail spot in the ship's Cruella DeVil themed bar.
