JURGEN KLOPP believes Arne Slot is inheriting the 'best job in the world' if he replaces him at Liverpool.

Feyenoord boss Slot, 45, is on the verge of landing the Anfield job after the Reds agreed his compensation package to leave Feyenoord last night.

The Dutch club were looking for around £10million to allow him to leave but an agreement was verbally reached after talks intensified yesterday with the compensation package believed to be £7.7m plus a further £1.7m in add-ons and includes coaches Sipke Hulshoff and Ruben Peeters.

Liverpool have got their man they want to replace Klopp who will depart at the end of the season after almost nine years in charge.

And the outgoing Kop boss has given his likely successor a glowing reference as well as saying he's getting a great job.
