A STUDENT who let a stranded gran stay at her flat after she missed her last bus is now one of her best pals despite a 52-year age gap.
Rebecca McCurry, 19, didn't hesitate to offer granof-five Ann, 71, a place to stay for the night after she spotted her wandering the streets of Glasgow alone.
After joining a party Rebecca was at and staying the night at her student halls, grateful Ann headed back to Dumfriesshire but the pair stayed in touch.
