A RECORD-breaking cyclist is heading to Scotland on a 3000mile challenge - on a handmade bamboo bike.
Kate Strong is riding around the circumference of Britain to raise awareness of the climate crisis.
The 44-year-old, who holds three cycling world records, says her 90-day challenge has a focus on "connection and is inviting 3000 people - one for every mile - to join her en route.
