Stephen Graham on global impact of his hard-hitting drama Adolescence

STEPHEN Graham says the Adolescence creators have "done our bit" as he reflects on the impact of the Netflix drama.

Exploring misogyny among teenage boys, it has sparked conversations about online safety and has even been discussed in Parliament.

This Is England actor Stephen, 51, who stars in and co-created the hit series, says he is often stopped in the street by people affected by it.

"I hoped it [the show] would create conversation," he said.

"The amount of stuff me and [his wife] Hannah [Walters] are getting sent, and the amount of people I'm seeing on the streets who were saying that has happened between them and their children, is huge.

"To me, that's objective complete. We've done our bit. Now you go and crack on."
