Anderson has his eyes on the prizes with Forest and England

NOTTINGHAM Forest's Champions League bid may have fallen short, but Elliot Anderson is still relishing the prospect of European football being back at the City Ground.

And the aim for Anderson (right) is to now emulate Chelsea's trophy-winning campaign in the UEFA Conference League.

The 22-year-old joined Forest from Newcastle for £35million last summer and made 37 Premier League appearances as the Reds secured European football for the first time since 1996.

Missing out on a place at the top table still stings, as two wins in their last eight saw Forest slip from a Champions League spot to Europe's third tier, but Anderson insists both he and Forest remain on an upward curve.
