FORMER Coronation Street star Beverley Callard is under investigation after her acting business failed to settle a £100,000 tax bill.
JMBJ Limited, of which she is a director, was set up to handle her pay after leaving the soap in 2020.
It went into voluntary liquidation last year owing HMRC £101,554 in tax and VAT.
Beverley, 67, and husband Jon McEwan have also failed to repay £114,000 in directors' loans they took out from the company.
Administrators have started an investigation into the business, including looking into the couple's failure to repay the loans.
They are also probing her failure to repay the tax debts.
Beverley has said she disputes some of the details found by investigators.
