Epstein police seek to reassure victims
Daily Express
|May 30, 2026
VICTIMS of Jeffrey Epstein with information on Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor will be treated with respect, a UK policing body has promised.
The statement comes after a US lawyer claimed they were reluctant to come forward.
Brad Edward, who represents hundreds of Epstein’s victims, said he had “multiple clients” who had information on the former prince but are hesitant about speaking out because they lack faith in the British investigation.
He also said they are concerned about press intrusion if their identities are made public.
Compassion
Among his clients is a woman who alleged she was sent to the UK for a sexual encounter with the former Duke of York in 2010, when she was in her 20s. Mr Mountbatten-Windsor has consistently and strenuously denied any wrongdoing.
The National Police Chiefs’ Council said it understands that coming forward can be incredibly difficult.
