Dogs really do make us feel much yappier

It suggests interacting with man's best friend actually changes our brainwaves for the better.

In tests, people were asked to carry out a number of tasks with a well-trained four-year-old poodle, including giving her treats and taking her for walkies.

And scientists discovered the dogfriendly activities did not just boost relaxation and concentration levels, but actually reduced feelings of stress and depression.
