Bulger killer Jon Venables could be free by Christmas

MURDERED toddler James Bulger's mother has begged parole chiefs to keep Jon Venables behind bars, amid fears he could be free by Christmas.
The plea from Denise Fergus comes as the child killer and convicted paedophile, 40, faces a two-day parole hearing beginning on November 14.
Decisions on a release are usually made within 14 days, meaning possible freedom within weeks.
Aged just 10, Venables and Robert Thompson tortured and killed James, two, in 1993, after snatching him from a shopping centre in Bootle, Merseyside.
They were jailed for life but released on licence with new identities in 2001.
