Accused was caught by locals; named in over 20 past criminal cases
A former corporator and his son were attacked by a history-sheeter who demanded Rs 5 lakh as extortion and snatched a gold chain from them in Naranpura area. The accused, identified as Mohan Desai, was caught by locals and handed over to the Naranpura police.
