CADA RELOJ CUENTA UNA HISTORIA Y LA DEL TUDOR RANGER ES UNA DE LAS MÁS BONITAS. Para conocer el origen de este modelo tenemos que retroceder al 8 de julio de 1952. Fue la fecha de salida elegida para la British North Greenland Expedition, la misión científica organizada por Reino Unido con el objetivo de estudiar las condiciones naturales del Polo Norte. Los 50 fueron pródigos en grandes aventuras científicas. En aquella década el hombre lograría alcanzar la cima del Everest, crear el batiscafo con el que llegar al punto más profundo del planeta y navegar por debajo del Polo Norte a bordo de un submarino nuclear.
Así, de Londres partieron una treintena de militares y civiles con destino a Groenlandia, donde muchos de ellos pasarían los siguientes dos años de su vida. La British North Greenland Expedition compartía el mismo deseo de desentrañar los secretos que aún aguardaban en nuestro planeta. Para conseguirlo era imprescindible contar con un valiente grupo de voluntarios y unas herramientas capaces de soportar las extremas condiciones en las cuales desarrollarían su trabajo.
