Recognising this shift, Villeroy & Boch expands its acclaimed Artis collection of surface-mounted washbasins with a new palette of solid, matte finishes developed by German designer Gesa Hansen.

The matte finish intensifies this effect, absorbing light rather than reflecting it, and creating a velvety depth that feels tactile as well as visual.
