1 PUT YOUR HEART TO WORK 

Anything that encourages healthy circulation is good for your lymph system, notes Wilfley. Aerobic exercise elevates your heart rate and pumps blood and fluid around your body. (Our plug for short power walks or a quick stair run at home, especially as a midday work break!) Aim for the standard rec: 150 minutes of aerobic exercise every week.

2 HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE

"Some people think they have water retention or a swelling issue and try to restrict their consumption," says Wilfley - but restricting water intake will ultimately work against you. Sipping water throughout the day encourages your lymph system to flush, she says.

3 FOCUS ONWHOLE FOODS
