GJEPC will host the fourth edition of IIJS Bharat - Tritiya, and IGJME Bharat - Tritiya, from March 21 2026 to March 23 2026 in Bengaluru, bringing 1,100+ exhibitors and retailers together for ahead of Akshaya Tritiya.

IIJS BHARAT - TRITIYA 2026 SET TO OPEN IN BENGALURU AHEAD OF AKSHAYA TRITIYA BUYING SEASON

The fourth edition of IIJS Bharat – Tritiya will take place from March 21 2026 to March 23 2026 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bengaluru. Organized by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the event is set to be an important sourcing platform for the jewellery trade. It will run alongside IGJME Bharat – Tritiya, the machinery and technology showcase for the gems and jewellery industry. The exhibition enables retailers to source fresh collections, and place orders in preparation for the seasonal surge in consumer demand. The upcoming edition is expected to host more than 1,100 exhibitors across approximately 1,900 stalls, covering a total exhibition area of over 60,000 square metres. The show is projected to attract more than 15,000 trade visitors from over 500 cities across India, along with international buyers from more than 40 countries.

Diamond, gemstone and other studded jewellery collections will also be represented prominently, with manufacturers showcasing a range of designs across price segments. These include pieces suited for both everyday wear and bridal jewellery categories.

Strategic timing of the event

The timing of IIJS Bharat – Tritiya places it at a crucial point in the retail calendar. Akshaya Tritiya has traditionally driven strong demand for gold jewellery, coins and investment products, making the weeks preceding the festival a key procurement period for retailers.

The exhibition allows retailers to review the latest collections and identify product categories that align with upcoming festive demand. Manufacturers, in turn, use the platform to present designs tailored to the buying patterns associated with Akshaya Tritiya and the broader wedding season.
