Winter is a bad time for your lips, because , while the skin on the rest of your body has 3 to 4 protective layers, our lips have fewer oil and no sweat glands, plus they're constantly exposed to irritants – the tip of the tongue, food and drinks, environmental pollutants, weather, the list goes on and on. Some lips are naturally hydrated because they contain lots of sebaceous glands while others are dry all through the year and constantly require more hydration.
