The A to Z of Intimate Weddings
Times are tough at the moment, but don’t let that knock the sparkle off your wedding planning. Whether you’ve already booked your wedding date or working out how to plan celebrations at home, we are here to help. Make the most of the extra spare time many of us find ourselves with, and let’s get planning!

ARRANGING CHAIRS

It’s important to safely navigate guests, before, during, and after a wedding. As a result, weddings today look and feel a whole lot different than before the pandemic. With the health of all guests an utmost priority, arrange chairs at a two-meter distance apart. Make sure that seats and stools are comfortable, especially for older guests. Most brides and grooms are preferring to walk down the aisle alone, and stay seated with immediate family, but far apart from the rest of the guests.

CAKE

You can still have your dream cutting ceremony. Why not leave the main cake left untouched to be cut and boxed individually, and have a smaller one to share between you and your partner.

BARFI

No Indian wedding is complete without boxes of mouth-watering mithai, such as ladoo, besan, and gulab jamun. See if your sweet provider can individually wrap barfi, or create smaller boxes for your celebration. It’s best to hand out closed boxes to guests at the end of the ceremony for hygiene and safety.
