According to the preliminary plans, each booth with two vaccinators would administer 100 doses per day.
State officials confirmed the data of vaccinators is being collated simultaneously along with information on healthcare beneficiaries.
“The Excel file that is being used to collect the details of healthcare workers has a column that asks whether the individual can be a potential vaccinator,” said Dr D N Patil, state immunization officer, adding the state currently has nearly 30,000 vaccinators. All states have been asked to draw up a list of vaccinators who can administer injections through the intramuscular, intradermal, and subcutaneous routes.
