In October, a group of bald people under the All Kerala Bald Headed People’s Association (AKBHPA), held a gathering in Malappuram titled ‘Bald gathering’ and raised the slogan ‘Jay Kashandism’.
Beyond the ‘fun’, their agenda was to collectively put heads together to deal with bald teasing and issues like rejection by girls during marriage proposals. AKBHPA started with 207 members, now has 427 members across the state.
