Queen's death down to 'old age'
'Mini-Budget Is Right Plan', Insists Truss

THE Queen died from old age, her official death certificate has revealed.

The document released by National Records of Scotland noted the time of the 96-year-old Queen's death on Thursday September 8 as 3.10pm at Balmoral.

When paying tribute to her mother the Queen, the Princess Royal revealed she was with the head of state in her last moments.

The princess is named as the "informant" on the document and would have notified the local registrar of her mother's death.

Old age is acceptable if the doctor certifying death has cared for the patient for a long time, was not aware of any disease or injury that contributed to death and had observed a gradual decline in the person's general health and functioning.

Meanwhile, the official coin effigy of King Charles III has been unveiled by the Royal Mint. People will start to see the King's image in their change from around December, as 50p coins depicting Charles gradually enter circulation.

PRIME Minister Liz Truss has insisted the Government’s tax-cutting measures are the right plan” in the face of rising energy bills and to get the economy growing despite market turmoil sparked by the Chancellor's mini-budget.
