Rail workers are set to take 24-hour strike action as a result of what they call the “reckless” actions of Abellio ScotRail management.
Unite the union says it has been “left with no choice” as it announced today that a series of 24-hour “stoppages” will take place over the coming weeks. It comes following a number of industrial action measures taken by union members in the last 10 days demanding fair pay from the rail operator.
The union says Abellio ScotRail has failed to make a meaningful offer.
