The Woke Warriors Spread Their Own Kind Of Prejudice
Daily Express|June 14, 2021
THE uplifting cause of anti-racism aims to achieve harmony and equality of opportunity. By tackling discrimination, a society can be built where people are judged “on the content of their character, not the colour of their skin”, to quote the words of the American civil rights leader Dr Martin Luther King.
Leo McKinstry
The Woke Warriors Spread Their Own Kind Of Prejudice

But that noble goal is being drastically undermined by the extremism of woke warriors. The very zealots who boast so loudly of their determination to root out prejudice are the ones who promote discord with their radical dogma.

As the authorities cower before their bullying, Britain slides further into the grip of a cultural revolution, complete with witch-hunts, mass indoctrination and thought crimes.

Nothing is safe from their agitation. Football is now at the forefront of their ideological war zone, as shown by the row that accompanied the opening of England’s campaign in the European championships.

In keeping with the recent custom, the England team “took the knee” before their kick-off against Croatia to show their backing for social justice. But the gesture, imported from the Black Lives Matter movement in America, has bitterly divided the game over the last year.

MANY fans, angered at the feeling that they have been dragooned into politics, particularly given the controversial agenda of Black Lives Matter, have booed such displays, though the dissent was muted yesterday and drowned out by cheering.
