TESCO has apologised to customers after many spent hours online trying to secure Christmas delivery slots yesterday.
The supermarket giant was forced to install a queuing system to help it manage the “high volumes of traffic” as people scrambled to book the slots for the festive week.
Furious customers on social media complained about the delays, with some writing they had waited more than two hours.
