MATT PEET admits that some Wigan fans still do not recognise him – but he is relishing the spotlight being turned his way ahead of the start of next season.
The 37-year-old is Super League’s youngest head coach and did not play professionally before focusing on coaching at just 21.
He has been handed one of the most high-pressure jobs in rugby league at trophy-hungry Wigan, whose 2021 campaign crumbled with a home play-off exit to Leeds.
