CATHY RENTZENBRINK, 44, is the author of the bestselling memoir, The Last Act of Love. Published in 2015, the book deals with the death of her beloved brother, Matty. Cathy’s no-nonsense style resonated with readers, who in turn sent her hundreds of letters and e-mails, and to date it has sold over 100 000 copies. She believes that almost all of us have a defining moment that prevents us from living as fully as we possibly could, something she deals with in A Manual for Heartache, her latest book. She lives in London with her husband Erwyn, and son Matthew.
