Invited To The Oasis

Wanting to become the perfect host means you have to embrace luxury to its max

Invited To The Oasis

Whether you’re holding a chic cocktail party this holiday season, or a lively family gathering at any time of year, you will need your own oasis that provides all the highspec facilities a host could need. Just make sure your guests know when the party’s over, or they might never want to leave.

In the past, wealthy buyers of the UK’s high-end properties would have been happy with a doorman or two and a concierge.

Now that has all changed, and every skyscraper and house coming out of the ground appears to be trying to outdo the previous one with what one broker described as ‘amenities on steroids’.

“I don’t get out of bed for anything less than a million,” states Ryan Serhant, author of the international bestseller Sell It Like Serhant, with a dramatic flourish. “I love the drama of luxury homes and the concept of oasis living. Like if you have everything at home, why would you leave it? And that’s the sentiment any host would want their guest to have.”
