En términos sociales, un ejemplo de este fenómeno –particularmente interesante para el momento presente– es lo ocurrido antes y durante los años 20 del siglo pasado.

La enorme mayoría de quienes estamos vivos hoy en día no habíamos experimentado nunca una pandemia de la magnitud de la que provocó el virus SARS-CoV-2, pero es algo que ya había ocurrido.
