WHO LIVES HERE?

Hanna Puharinen and her husband Tuomo live here with their children, Noel, Alvar and Eliel. Hanna is co-founder of the carpet brand Sera Helsinki.

THE PROPERTY

A three-bedroom, newly built detached house by the forest in Tillinmäki, Espoo, in Finland.

THE LAYOUT

A spacious living room with double-height ceiling forms the central part of the house, off which are a kitchen-dining room, main en-suite bedroom, utility room and a playroom. Upstairs are a further two bedrooms, a TV room and a bathroom with a sauna that opens onto a terrace.

Using the dramatic forest location as their starting point, Hanna and Tuomo have created a contemporary family home inspired by this wonderful natural setting.
