One of the most popular treatments is teeth whitening. We spoke to Dr Aodhan Docherty, head of research and development at Australian teeth-whitening brand White Glo, to find out more.
WHAT CAUSES TEETH TO FADE AND YELLOW?
Some of the daily items that affect the colour of our teeth include tea, coffee, smoking and rich-coloured spices. Other staining substances include fluorosis, caused by overexposure to fluoride during childhood; and tetracycline, an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections.
