Empowering India Via Education
The Franchising World|September 2017

As a challenging education system awaits students in big schools, the quality stint during preschool stage is now having great importance. However, the preschool segment of the Indian education industry continues to primarily be an unorganized sector. The gross enrollment rate in the preschool segment is as low as 18-20 per cent. According to a research report, the preschool market is set to thrive in India, with market revenue anticipated to grow at a CAGR of around 20 per cent by 2020. Owing to the increased awareness of quality preschool education, Shanti Juniors, one of the existing players of this industry, is all set to expand its wings pan-India.

Empowering India Via Education
Education is among the top 10 business opportunities, which shall never saturate, stagnate or decline. Exposure to early education and awareness levels in this sector has been on the rise in the past few years. Despite this, the penetration is not more than 18 per cent. There are hardly organized brands who have ventured beyond particular geographical area. Similarly, lack of regulation in this industry is still keeping the segment unorganized. Leading the pack, Gujarat-based Shanti Juniors Pre School sees a golden opportunity in reaching the masses, especially in tier-II and III cities with the right balance of quality, safety and affordability. Understanding the importance of contemporary teaching and integration of technology, Shanti Juniors Preschool offers affordable, international standard of teaching methodology curriculum integrated with technology.

HOLISTIC APPROACH

Shanti Educational Initiatives (SEIL) has been focusing the motive of holistic development of the child, where the international standard of teaching methodology gets adapted well with the Indian culture along with the changing trends of early childhood education. The biggest challenge for the brand was the duplication model and maintaining the quality, where they develop a unique management procedure called “Eagle to Ant Approach”. The objective was to monitor from macro overview, along with micro detailing so as to ensure that quality education reaches to children.
