Tất cả chúng ta đều biết đến ít nhất một người như Mozart, bẩm sinh đã có khả năng lắng nghe một bài hát trong một lần và có thể chơi lại nó một cách hoàn hảo. Độc giả thân mến, cách đây đúng 100 năm, ấn phẩm thời trang LOFFICIEL đã chính thức ra đời, kéo theo cả một cuộc cách mạng về tư duy và góc nhìn về thời trang. Mặc dù chỉ là một sự thiếu sót trong lập trình, nhiều nhà nghiên cứu chỉ ra “sự cố Y2K” có thể khiến hệ thống máy tính toàn cầu sụp đổ, và nhiều người tin rằng nó có thể dẫn đến khủng hoảng tài chính toàn cầu, tắc nghẽn hạ tầng giao thông, và tên lửa hạt nhân phát nổ không kiểm soát... Vô hình trung, người ta xem Y2K như một thứ thảm họa có thể khiến trái đất diệt vong. Tuy nhiên, đối với thế giới thời trang, Y2K còn được xem như một mốc thời gian đặc biệt nằm giữa sự chuyển giao của những năm 1990 và 2000, được đặc trưng bởi một thẩm mỹ rất riêng đã trở lại mạnh mẽ trong những năm gần đây, đặc biệt được thế hệ Gen Z ưa chuộng. Lấy chủ đề về Y2K cho ấn phẩm lần này, chúng tôi không chỉ muốn gợi lại một cuộc khủng hoảng đã làm rúng động thế giới cách đây 20 năm, mà một lần nữa muốn nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của Gen Z trong khả năng tác động đến thế giới thời trang và sáng tạo nói chung. Trong thời đại nơi mỗi cú click chuột đã có khả năng nhân tốc độ lan truyền tin tức lên theo cấp số nhân, bất cứ ai trong số chúng ta cũng xứng đáng có một lần nghỉ ngơi cho ra trò. Nếu nhìn nhận một cách tích cực, việc chuyển sang “mood lười” có thể được xem như chế độ “tiết kiệm năng lượng”, hay nói cách khác là một thói quen nghỉ ngơi trước khi chúng ta thấy mệt.
