Golden Scissors Award is back again with its fourth edition. This annual event is specially coordinated for hairdressers and barbers all around Singapore. On 10 September 2019, at Zouk, emceed by Tan Yan Wei and Fiona Loh, hairdressers and barbers were in for a night of fun and celebration as others showcased their artworks, talents and skills on stage. For the first time in GSA History, drag queens Alan Labush and Noristar Narcisso hyped up the audience with their dazzling appearances, personalities and entertainment, taking the entire party up to a whole new level.

This year, participants of the Creative Hairdresser Award have to adhere to the theme “Prism” when crafting out their creative works. Additionally, for the very first time and in collaboration with ANDIS Clippers, GSA is proud to present Modern Cut Fast Fade by ANDIS Category. The various competition categories include — Student Hairdresser Award, Elegant Evening Award, Hair Tattoo Award, Fantasy Award, Pioneer Generation Hairdresser Award and Pioneer Trade Distributor Award.
