In the cover story titled, 'Amidst the Sambar Habitat: A Visit to the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve', the author reminiscences his visit to the Reserve in March 2019 when he observed sambar deer, nilgai, tigers, leopards, and recorded the presence of several species of native and exotic plants. He dwells on the basic biology of sambar and its behaviour during and after the rut. He opines that the presence of many edible plant species in the Reserve ensures the high potential of the Reserve in sambar conservation.

In the Feature article titled, 'Biofertilizers: An Ecofriendly Source for Sustainable Agriculture' the authors discuss the beneficial effects of biofertilizers to bring back vitality and vigour of soil suffering from the excessive use of chemical fertilizers. They also highlight the present status of global biofertilizer demand and consumption and the Indian government’s role in the promotion of biofertilizers in the country.

In the Special Report titled, ‘Stories from the Yamuna Waterscapes' the author says that in an urban context, supply of recycled wastewater to these groups can have transformative effect by securing an equitable and sustained access to natural resources. The author has presented the narratives of agricultural labourers, nursery workers, fishing folks, and Gurjar cattle cum landowners from the heart of Yamuna khadar (floodplains).
