Across the Arab world as well as outside, many believe that Aylan Kurdi and others would never have died were Saddam Hussein still alive. They believe ISIS would never have succeeded were Saddam Hussein still alive. Sympathy and support for the 'Don of Tikrit' Saddam is bubbling up in social media and in the streets of Arab world, from Bahdad to Riyad. One interesting tweet expresses the sentiments in such words, “Our dignity died 10 years ago. If he was alive today, what is happening to the Arab states, war, killing, treachery and criminal behavior, wouldn't be happening. ISIS wouldn't exist.”
