Week four passed; the country-wide coronavirus lockdown-isolation which affects the human mind deeply, continues further. The strict lockdown takes a toll because human souls need to be active and productive as we adapted to live that way for long. More significantly when ‘staying home’ means saving life and state order, then it becomes a big responsibility but how we sail through this tough period to keep us feeling meaningful, that becomes the call of the hour. As an artist when the lockdown started I had an initial feeling ….ohhh this is a great opportunity for me to work on those ideas which are long awaited and make use of the materials that I gathered to create them. While I was in the process of involving myself in this work there was a sense of relief and refuge. So this unprecedented time and situation tells us what creativity means and how it saves our soul. Eventually living behind closed doors, the artist’s creation continues apace
