In 2014, a three-station addition to the MTR, Hong Kong's hyper-efficient metro system, sparked the transformation of Hong Kong's Western District. Previously an undistinguished hinterland, the area stretching from Sai Wan to Kennedy Town has now been transformed into a buzzy area filled with culture and nightlife and a destination in its own right.
