Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Tuesday, paid tribute to His Majesty the Fourth King, Jigme Singye Wangchuck, for his visionary concept of "Gross National Happiness," which has become a global benchmark for inclusive growth and human well-being.
Addressing the 70th birth anniversary celebrations of Jigme Singye Wangchuck in Thimphu, Mr Modi emphasised that the King's leadership has shown that nation-building is not just about GDP, but about the welfare of humanity.
Modi is currently on a two-day visit to Bhutan.
