ED likely to interrogate former MLA PV Anwar in money laundering case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is all set to question former Nilambur MLA PV Anwar under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
It is learnt that the central probe agency will soon issue a summons to Anwar asking him to appear for interrogation at its Kochi office.
The ED decided to interrogate Anwar after conducting raids at his and his driver Ziyad Ambayathingal's residences on Friday.
The ED officials on Friday carried out extensive searches at the residences of former MLA PV Anwar and his driver Ziyad Ambayathingal in connection with a money laundering probe linked to an alleged loan fraud at the Kerala Financial Corporation (KFC), which reportedly caused a loss of Rs 22.30 crore.
