Man jailed after he got underage girl pregnant

He met teen on Facebook then blocked her days after having sex
‘IMMATURE’ George Gaitley got an underage girl pregnant on their first date - just a day after meeting on Facebook.
The 24-year-old was aged 22 when he met his schoolgirl victim online.
They had unprotected sex and the teenager fell pregnant. However, when she informed Gaitley the child was his, his behaviour towards her was ‘shoddy, disgusting and horrible’.
Now Gaitley has been jailed for 12 months at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court. He has been handed a five-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register for 10 years.
Prosecutor David Bennett said the teenager told Gaitley her age after he sent her a Facebook friendship request. He told her he felt like he was 17 but told her he was aged 22. The pair met the next day in a field and they engaged in consensual sexual intercourse.
Mr Bennett said: “He denied ejaculating. The parties only met once. As a result of that meeting she fell pregnant.”
