Damosa Land, Davao Light to build new substation

Damosa Land Inc. is strengthening the energy backbone of the Anflo Industrial Estate (AIE) as it partners with Davao Light and Power Co. to build a new substation that will support the growing demand from industrial locators in the area.
The new facility will boost the estate’s power capacity and support the accelerating industrial activity in Davao del Norte.
Through the project, Damosa Land said that AIE is expected to reinforce its position as an investment-ready hub by ensuring reliable, efficient and future-proof energy for its growing locator community.
AIE is a 63-hectare PEZA-accredited economic zone that continues to attract companies involved in manufacturing, agribusiness, food processing and logistics.
The new substation, which will support major locators inside AIE, will provide 43-megavolt-ampere (MVA) of power capacity that will help sustain the estate growth and support the entry of new locators.
