Atome's PayLater Anywhere card takeup hits 1.6 M in Phl

Atome Financial Philippines has issued 1.6 million PayLater Anywhere cards in just two years since its launch, making the product the fastest-growing of its kind in the country and accounting for more than half of Atome's portfolio.
Christian Eugene Quiros, Atome president and country general manager, said the fintech expects to close the year with as much as 2.1 million cards, banking on strong organic adoption and referral programs.
"Our hero product, the Atome PayLater Anywhere card, has reached over 1.6 million users. We're looking to end the year between two and 2.1 million," Quiros told The STAR in an interview.
