HC grants bail to former DU prof Hany Babu in Bhima Koregaon case

THE Bombay High Court on Thursday granted bail to former Delhi University professor Hany Babu, an accused in the 2018 Bhima Koregaon-Elgar Parishad case, on the grounds of incarceration of over five years without trial.
A division bench of Justices A S Gadkari and R R Bhonsale ordered release of Babu on furnishing a personal bond of %1 lakh with sureties of the same amount.
