Actor Shine Tom's Father Dies in Road Accident Near Dharmapuri

Shine, his mother, brother & a close aide suffer injuries; lorry driver booked for rash driving
C P Chacko, the father of actor Shine Tom Chacko, died in a road accident near Paraiyur village in Palacode taluk in the early hours of Friday. The actor, two other family members, and a close aide suffered injuries and were admitted to Dharmapuri Medical College Hospital.
On Friday, around 6.30 am, Shine Tom, 41, along with his father C P Chacko, 70, his mother Maria Carmel, 60, and brother Joe John Chacko, 36, were traveling in their car, driven by the actor's manager A Anise, 42, of Ernakulam. They were en route to Bengaluru from Thrissur.
While approaching Paraiyur village along NH 44, a lorry switched lanes without signaling. Anise was unable to stop the vehicle in time and collided with the rear end of the lorry.
Anise and Joe John, seated in the front seats, sustained minor injuries. However, Chacko, who was seated in the middle rear seat, sustained severe head trauma and died on the spot. Shine and his mother also sustained injuries.
