SATHISH Kumpala has been re-elected as the Dakshina Kannada BJP district president for a tenure of three years.
SATHISH Kumpala has been re-elected as the Dakshina Kannada BJP district president for a tenure of three years. Kumpala was earlier the vice-president and served as the district BJP secretary thrice. His political career began as a Gram Panchayat member, later advancing to BJP Ullal unit general secretary. He also contested against U T Khader of the Congress and lost. On January 14, 2024, state BJP president B Y Vijayendra appointed Kumpala as the district president.
