Hingurana sugarcane cultivators discuss their problems with Hakeem and Handunnetti

Resentatives of the local sugarcane producers associations met the Leader of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress and Member of Parliament Rauff Hakeem, on Tuesday (22), at the Parliament Complex, to discuss issues faced by sugarcane farmers in Hingurana in the Ampara District.

SLMC sources told The Island that during the meeting, they had an in-depth discussion with MP Hakeem on the various issues faced by sugarcane farmers.
