Teenager could lose finger after dog attack

A CLECKHEATON boy, 16, is faced with having his finger amputated after he was mauled by a dangerous dog.
Kobi Pollard’s life has been flung into disarray as having his finger removed severely affects his prospects on his college engineering course.
The attack happened at about 3.30pm on July 17, 2024, on Tenth Avenue, Windybank estate, in Cleckheaton.
The dog owner, Jemma Hampton, was arrested and ordered to pay a fine at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court on May 12, this year. She was ordered to pay £1,400 to Kobi with £40 monthly instalments.
