TDB ex-secretary denied bail

The Pathanamthitta District Sessions Court has denied anticipatory bail to S Jayashree, the former secretary of the Sabarimala Devaswom, in connection with the ongoing gold theft case.Jayashree, who is the fourth accused in the Dwarapalaka case, faces serious charges following an investigation by a special team.
The special investigation team, formed to probe the theft, uncovered significant evidence suggesting that Jayashree played a role in manipulating official records. It was revealed that Jayashree altered the minutes of a Devaswom board meeting, specifically modifying the records to state that copper plates should be handed over to Unnikrishnan Potty, a figure tied to the theft.
